Palais Le Brun

Valletta

A charming and refined authentic sixteenth century Baroque palace. The palace offers luxury, comfort, modernity and traditional sixteenth century Maltese architecture. The Building dates back to 1606, making it one of the earliest private homes to be built in the city. In the early 1700s the palace became home to ‘The Illustrious Knight Claude LeBrun’, and was later handed down to Giuseppe LeBrun and Giacchino LeBrun, both of whom held the honour of being Masters of the Mint of the Order.

In the early 1700s the palace became home to ‘The Illustrious Knight Claude LeBrun’, and was later handed down to Giuseppe LeBrun and Giacchino LeBrun, both of whom held the honour of being Masters of the Mint of the Order.

During these years the LeBrun name became famous for silverware and coin mintage after having acquired their mark, which today we have developed into the hotel logo. Since 2018 the palace has been renovated as one of the most luxurious Valletta hotels.

Palazzo Le Brun retained all the beautiful details of this authentic sixteenth century Baroque Palace without sacrificing any of the modern technology and convenience befitting a luxury hotel in the heart of Valletta. Palazzo Le Brun offers elegant combination of classic luxury and contemporary style.
